Kate has been riding since she was 5 years old; training and competing in the hunter ring. She has extensive knowledge due riding with and working for coaches such as Jeff Rundle, Tom Gayford, and Judy Henderson over the years.

Kate has been running TWE since 2000, starting as a small barn in Lambeth and now expanded into the large facility she has today, located south of London ON.

Kate has extensive training experience, and used to back and trained all of her own horses, as well as offered training for clients. Now, Kate rides recreationally, however still continues to share her horses and knowledge with her clients, as well as participate in lessons with her dressage coach, and will be attending clinics in the 2023 season.

As of 2010 Kate has taken in rescue horses to rehabilitate, retrain and rehome; so far with great success. This is entirely self funded, to provide better homes for horses in unfortunate situations.
